I grew up in a family where needlework, embroidery, knitting and making lace were of great importance when women spend time together. These skills are for that reason of great importance for me. The possibility to examine and work with a traditional material as laze and use this in a modern way came through a grant from the foundation of Estrid Ericson. The chandelier is a further development from the strip of lace that is laser cut out of 1mm thick metal sheet to get this light feeling. It was interesting to give a hard material the illusion of being thin and fragile. I want you to feel a festive feeling when you use these products.
