Glade is a room divider and trellis, which with its strict yet organic forms, are inspired by nature’s shoreline shrubbery. The idea was to create a trellis that also worked without plants and with several together, they can create places and gathering points in open environments, hence the name Glade. “I think it’s good to feel the presence of nature in the home and in public environments. I also wanted to explore the possibilities of working in wood bending – something that I haven’t done before.” Glade is manufactured at a carpentry in Malmö, and is made from ash from Söderåsen.
